National Mosque, Abuja
It is located in the heart of the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on Independence Avenue, and is considered the largest mosque in Nigeria.
Construction began in 1984, and it was inaugurated in 1991. Due to its central location in Abuja, the mosque can be seen from various parts of the city and its suburbs.
The mosque accommodates up to 15,000 worshippers and includes a library and a conference hall. At its center stands a large golden dome, surrounded by four smaller domes.
