Sinéad O’Connor was one of Ireland’s most famous singers and spent years searching for a deeper spiritual dimension in her life.
In 2018, she announced her conversion to Islam after a long journey of religious exploration.
She later chose the name Shuhada’ Sadaqat, appeared wearing the hijab, and spoke happily about her newfound faith.
She also shared videos related to her prayers and her efforts to learn more about aspects of Islam.
She continued to identify as a Muslim until her death in 2023.
