Jennifer Grout… From Seeking to Faith
During her visit to Morocco in 2012, Jennifer Grout was deeply touched by the generosity and warm hospitality of the people. She was also struck by hearing the call to prayer coming from the mosques.
This experience prompted her to study Islam more deeply, and she embraced Islam in 2013.
She later explained that she had not formally documented her conversion with an imam, but that she sincerely recited the Shahada from her heart.
She also began performing the five daily prayers and continued exploring the meanings of the Quran and the history of Islam.
